Lydia du Plessis


Lydia du Plessis has 17 years of experience in investor relations across various industries, with specific expertise in the financial services sector. She has held a variety of management positions in that time, including General manager - Corporate Communications at Gensec, Director of Gensec Investment Asset Management and Investor Relations and Treasury Executive at ABIL. She has consulted to a range of businesses across many industries, including ABIL, Aveng, Bidvest and Cartrack in Gauteng, Grindrod, Spar, Mr Price, RCL Foods, Chemspec, Sanyati, Santova, and Illovo in KwaZulu Natal and Prescient, Control Instruments, SA Corporate Real Estate Fund, Shoprite, Curro, Equites, Fairvest, Atlantic Leaf, Santam and MMI in the Western Cape.

Lydia's key specialist areas include assisting clients with strategic insight into investor perceptions and communication strategies; production of annual, interim and quarterly financial publications and sustainability reports; managing relations with financial analysts and shareholders; measuring perceptions of analysts and fund managers; maintaining investor relations websites and organising results events, road shows and investor days. Erika Venter

Erika Venter


Erika has extensive experience in account management, project management and marketing across various industries such as mining, IT, retail and financial services. Erika's roles included project managing the national roll-out of desktop technology at Ingwe Coal Corporation (now a subsidiary of Billiton), being account manager for several large corporate accounts such as Mondi, Nedcor and Steinhoff and holding the position of HR Manager at PSG FutureWealth before the business was incorporated into PSG Konsult. Erika was also on the Edcon project team responsible for developing and implementing the Thank U Rewards Programme – the group's largest ever customer programme. She did digital marketing for Edgars, Red Square and Boardmans and was responsible for the marketing of South Africa's first online lending marketplace, RainFin. Over the past 5 years, Erika has gained substantial experience in investor relations, shareholder communications and particularly in the implementation of the International Integrated Reporting Framework. She has also project managed and assisted in the compilation of over 30 integrated annual reports, including several award winning reports.
